The challenge

The project for Thumbay Hospital Pharmacy aimed to transform a traditional hospital pharmacy into a modern healthcare destination capable of serving multiple patient journeys within a single environment. The challenge was to create a clear and efficient layout that could accommodate hospital patients, outpatients, insurance services, prescription dispensing, and retail activities while ensuring smooth operational workflows and an outstanding patient experience.

The solution

The design integrates automated dispensing technologies, clearly organized patient flows, and dedicated service areas to improve operational efficiency and reduce waiting times. Separate zones for prescriptions, insurance services, consultations, retail products, and VIP patients create a seamless healthcare experience while supporting pharmacy staff productivity.
