Kinexion: an LTC pharmaceutical hub designed for efficiency, control and healthcare distribution.
Kinexion required the transformation of a large industrial space in Port Jefferson Station, New York, into a specialized LTC pharmaceutical hub designed to manage complex healthcare distribution processes with precision and control. The challenge was to create an environment capable of supporting medication storage, preparation, packaging, verification and delivery, while ensuring safety, efficiency and operational clarity. More than a pharmacy, the space had to become a structured system where teams, logistics and pharmaceutical workflows could operate seamlessly.
The project organizes the center around the real sequence of LTC pharmaceutical operations. Storage, preparation, packaging, final check and distribution areas are arranged into specialized zones, supported by clear pathways and separated functions that improve workflow control and daily efficiency. The hub was designed to prepar and distribute medications to external care facilities, ensuring continuity, accuracy and reliability across the healthcare network. Offices, meeting rooms and training spaces complete the center, creating a professional environment where operational performance, collaboration and healthcare distribution work together within a coherent architectural system.
