Designed for Almoosa Hospital in Saudi Arabia, this hospital pharmacy project reshapes the traditional hospital pharmacy experience into a more human, private, and patient-centered journey.
The ambition was to move beyond the traditional concept of the hospital pharmacy as a purely transactional space. At Almoosa Hospital, the new pharmacy was conceived as an environment where privacy, comfort and professional consultation become integral parts of the patient experience.
At the same time, the design needed to support pharmacists in their daily practice by creating spaces that facilitate confidential conversations, strengthen patient relationships and improve the overall quality of care.
Our design approach is built around three key principles: privacy, comfort and patient wellbeing.
Dedicated consultation areas enable pharmacists and patients to meet in a protected and welcoming setting, encouraging open dialogue, trust and personalised guidance throughout the treatment journey.
The waiting area is organised beneath a distinctive glulam timber dome, introducing natural materials and a calming atmosphere that helps reduce stress and creates a more reassuring healthcare environment.
Integrated digital displays, comfortable seating and clearly organised service areas improve operational efficiency while enhancing the overall patient experience. More than a dispensing facility, the pharmacy becomes a place that supports education, treatment adherence and a more human approach to healthcare.
A counter with a minimalist design, created to showcase products and enhance the shopping experience. Lea® combines high-tech surfaces and modular solutions with display elements built directly into the structure. Ideal for contemporary pharmacies focused on visual communication.
RAL System® 6 combines aesthetics and functionality thanks to its solid wood structure and internal lighting. It is designed to create visually striking display areas, ideal for cosmetics and premium products.
RAL System® 8.2 is an advanced display system designed to optimize product visibility and improve communication in pharmacies. Thanks to its modular design and the integration of lighting and signage, it allows for flexible and highly effective space organization.
